Prof. Levinson to discuss right-to-work ordinances in teleforum
Can counties and cities pass right-to-work ordinances under the Taft-Hartley Amendments to the National Labor Relations Act?
That's the question at hand for an upcoming teleforum hosted by The Federalist Society.
Brandeis Law Professor Ariana Levinson, nationally acclaimed and internationally recognized labor and employment law scholar, will participate in the teleforum, titled "Statewide vs. Local Right to Work Laws."
The teleforum is Jan, 6, 2016, at 3 p.m. and is open to dues-paying members of The Federalist Society.
Levinson and two students will publish a related article about the federal preemption of local right-to-work ordinances in an upcoming issue of the Harvard Journal on Legislation.
