Prof. Jones to address disability rights on ABA panel
Professor James Jones will participate in a panel hosted by the American Bar Association Commission on Disability Rights on Oct. 18, 2016.
"This panel will address the practical aspects of coming out about mental illness in the workplace. It will discuss the decision to come out, what reactions and stigmas doing so could lead to, and how the employee, employer, and coworkers should handle the situation," states the ABA.
Jones' fellow panelists are Chai Feldblum, EEOC Commissioner; Lori Golden, abilities strategy leader, Ernst & Young LLP; Daniel Lukasik, attorney, Maxwell Murphy LLC; and TochI Onyebuchi, attorney, Legal Aid Society. The moderator is Lewis Bossing, senior staff attorney, Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law in Washington, D.C.
