Prof. JoAnne Sweeny to participate in Gender Sidelining Symposium
Brandeis School of Law Professor JoAnne Sweeny will be a panelist at an upcoming symposium hosted by the California Western School of Law.
The Gender Sidelining Symposium, April 26-27, 2018, will bring together academics and practitioners to explore "gender sidelining." This term, coined by a group of law professors at California Western, describes the phenomenon in which "women experience obstacles that the law does not (and arguably should not) proscribe."
Sweeny, whose research examines the law and gender, will be a panelist April 27, 2018, on the topic of employment.
