Prof. Ariana Levinson quoted in ABA Journal
Brandeis School of Law Professor Ariana Levinson is quoted in a story from the ABA Journal about the potential impact the #MeToo movement could be having on large firms' mandatory arbitration agreements for employees.
The March 28, 2018, article highlights two big law firms — Munger Tolles & Olson and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe — that have dropped mandatory arbitration agreements for employees.
“I think that as result of the #MeToo movement and public and client pressure that some big law firms, just like other employers, will back away from mandatory arbitration clauses, while others will continue to use them unless there is legislative change requiring them not to,” Levinson states in the article.
Levinson is an expert in labor and employment law.
