Prof. Abrams presents at law, culture, humanities conference
Professor Jamie Abrams spoke at the 20th annual meeting of the Association for the Study of Law, Culture and the Humanities March 31, 2017.
The conference, held at Stanford Law School, brings together domestic and international scholars engaged in interdisciplinary, humanistically oriented legal scholarship.
Abrams presented her article "The Feminist Case for Acknowledging Women's Acts of Violence," which was recently published in the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism.
Abrams' research focuses on reproductive and birthing decision-making, gendered citizenship, legal protections for immigrant victims of domestic violence and legal education pedagogy.
