Incoming 1Ls kick off law school career with day of service
Reflecting the pubic service ideals of Justice Brandeis, more than 100 incoming first-year law students at the Brandeis School of Law will kick off their law school careers with a day of serving the community.
Several local organizations will be served by 118 Brandeis students of the Class of 2020 on Aug. 11:
- Dare to Care Food Bank
- Global Game Changers Children Education Initiative
- Hosparus of Louisville
- Habitat for Humanity
- Kentucky Refugee Ministries
- The Lord's Kitchen
- Masonic Homes of Kentucky
- Olmsted Parks Conservancy
- The PEACC Center
- Ronald McDonald House
- St. Vincent de Paul
Students will complete a variety of tasks, ranging from sorting food in the Dare to Care warehouse to painting at women's shelters.
