Incoming 1Ls kick off law school career with day of service

Brandeis Law 1Ls completed a service day in 2016.

Reflecting the pubic service ideals of Justice Brandeis, more than 100 incoming first-year law students at the Brandeis School of Law will kick off their law school careers with a day of serving the community.

Several local organizations will be served by 118 Brandeis students of the Class of 2020 on Aug. 11:

  • Dare to Care Food Bank
  • Global Game Changers Children Education Initiative
  • Hosparus of Louisville
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Kentucky Refugee Ministries
  • The Lord's Kitchen
  • Masonic Homes of Kentucky
  • Olmsted Parks Conservancy
  • The PEACC Center
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • St. Vincent de Paul

Students will complete a variety of tasks, ranging from sorting food in the Dare to Care warehouse to painting at women's shelters.
