Inaugural William Bullitt Memorial Lecture in Law to feature ZirMed CEO, '98 Brandeis grad

The Inaugural William Bullitt Memorial Lecture in Law: A Conversation with Jim Lacy will be held Tuesday, November 10, 5 p.m. in Room LL75 of the Brandeis School of Law. A reception will follow in the Mosaic Lounge.

Jim Lacy, CFO and General Counsel of ZirMed, is a 1998 graduate of the Brandeis School of Law. He joined ZirMed in 2004 as CFO and General Counsel, and successfully led product design and development in the first years of his tenure. During his time with ZirMed, the company has experienced rapid growth, has been a multi-year recipient of Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 fastest growing companies and Healthcare Informatics magazine’s Top 100 Companies awards, and earned a Best in KLAS distinction in 2010 and 2011.

Prior to joining ZirMed, Lacy served as Corporate Counsel and EVP of development for a vertically integrated post-acute care company. Lacy also serves on the board of directors for Kosair Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Kentucky Derby Festival.

The William Marshall Bullitt Memorial Lecture in Law is made possible through the William Marshall Bullitt Memorial Lectureship Fund in Law. The lecture is sponsored by Lowry Watkins, Jr., grandson of William Marshall Bullitt. Bullitt received his law degree from the University of Louisville in 1895 and later served as Solicitor General of the United States.
