Gov. Bevin appoints Brandeis alum ('90) as family court judge

Doreen Showalter Goodwin ('90) has been appointed by Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin as family court judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Division 2.

Goodwin, of LaGrange, replaces the Honorable Tim Feeley, who resigned, for a term expiring in November 2016, reports the Northern Kentucky Tribune.

The 12th Judicial Circuit comprises Henry, Oldham and Trimble counties. Goodwin is a solo law practitioner and served as the master commissioner for Oldham County.
