Brandeis graduates listed in 2015 Edition of Best Lawyers in America
A handful of Brandeis School of Law alumni are listed in the 2015 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America, released by Best Lawyers and published in the March issue of Louisville Magazine. There were a total 596 attorneys listed from Louisville and Lexington.
Frank Mascagni III graduated from the University of Louisville Law School in 1976. He then served as Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney before entering private practice in 1979. He mostly practices criminal law defense in state and federal courts.
Kelly Gannott, Misty Clark Vantrease and Chris Calamita were recognized for their work with Kentucky ElderLaw PLLC, which focuses on life-care planning, helping people obtain benefits to pay for care where they need it.
Louis I. Waterman, a 1986 Brandeis graduate, is a former Jefferson Family Court Judge and leading family law attorney in Kentucky. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Bill Bardenwerper, John Talbott and Nick Pregliasco were recognized as part of Bardenwerper, Talbott & Roberts PLLC, which dedicates itself to land law, including land use, development, zoning and more. Bardenwerper is also this year's Commercial REACH Award recipient.
