Brandeis alums take on LBA leadership roles in 2016
Charles J. (Mike) Cronan IV, a veteran attorney with Stites & Harbison and a 1970 Brandeis School of Law graduate, has kicked off 2016 as the new Louisville Bar Association President.
In the January 2016 issue of the Louisville Bar Briefs, Cronan wrote:
"It is with great humility that I take my turn as president for 2016 and accept responsibility for the growth and continued success of the LBA. My optimism and sense of purpose are bolstered by the experience and enthusiasm of able executive committee members, Amanda Main, Dean Furman and Gerry Toner; a diverse board of directors; and our Executive Director, Scott Furkin, along with the dedicated and talented LBA staff."
Main, who has assumed the role of president-elect, is a 2001 Brandeis School of Law graduate. She currently serves as an assistant vice president at Brown-Forman, where she is responsible for privacy law matters, legal review of advertising, marketing, digital activations, public relations materials, promotional concepts and trade practice compliance.
This year marks the 116th year of the Louisville Bar Association.
