Brandeis alum, Trust Tree Legal co-founder Bill Ferrell named IP Star
Trust Tree Legal Co-Founder and Brandeis School of Law alum Bill Ferrell has been named an “IP Star” among the nation’s intellectual property law attorneys.
The “IP Star” designation comes from Managing IP whose researchers conducted more than 1,000 interviews and surveys with peers and clients of attorneys in the United States to compile the rankings.
Trust Tree Legal is an online trademark services company that is aimed at making the federal trademark application process easier for both individuals and companies.
A registered patent attorney, Ferrell has a mechanical engineering degree from the Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville. He graduated in 2005 magna cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where he was editor-in-chief of the Law Journal.
Ferrell co-founded Trust Tree Legal with fellow trademark attorneys Randy Michels and Kevin Hartley. Together, the trio has a combined 30 years of experience in trademark law, patent litigation and working with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
