Sarah Anne Strickley is the recipient of many awards and fellowships, including a National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship, an Ohio Arts Grant, and a Glenn Schaeffer Award. Her short stories and essays have appeared in such publications as Oxford American, A Public Space, Witness, Harvard Review, The Normal School, and Ninth Letter. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and earned her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. At UofL she teaches creative writing and serves as the faculty editor of the literature and arts magazine Miracle Monocle.
