Please Note: International students (non-immigrants) should not register for Transfer/Adult Orientation. International students will complete a required International Student Orientation before classes begin. Information regarding International Student Orientation will be communicated through the University of Louisville's International Center. Welcome to UofL!
Completing your Orientation requirement is a two-step process including:
2) Completion of either the online or on-campus Orientation.
- Online - $40 fee - Students with less than 30 credit hours are required to attend an on-campus orientation. If you have 30 or more credit hours and register for the online orientation, it will be available as a link on Blackboard under the "My Organizations Plus" section. (Note: entering students into Blackboard is a manual process. Students will have access to online orientation in Blackboard the business day after registration by 5 p.m. EST). To successfully complete the online orientation the assessment must be passed with a 70% or better. Your orientation hold will be released the business day after successful completion by 5 p.m. EST.
- On-Campus - $40 fee/$15 per guest - If you register for an on-campus session, you will receive a submission confirmation soon after submitting registration and payment. An additional confirmation/reminder e-mail will be sent to your CardMail a few days prior to your session (links to the agenda and parking information are available below). The program will run most of the day so please plan accordingly. Students should contact their academic advising unit prior to Orientation to make an advising appointment. If your advising appointment is on the day of your orientation be sure that it is after 2 p.m.
