Freshman Orientation: All the deets!

Freshman Orientation is a two-day program with a required overnight stay on campus. Attendance at all Orientation programming, including the overnight stay, is required in order to enroll in Fall 2017 classes.  Orientation will prepare you for a successful transition in becoming a Louisville Cardinal.

When?

2017 Freshman Orientation dates are available here!
Please note: Business, Music, Dental Hygiene, Social Work and Public Health will not be present at every session.

$ Cost

Freshman Orientation is $130/student. This covers 4 meals, snacks, overnight accommodations and all staff/administration fees.

You have the option to register two family members or guests for Family Orientation. Family Orientation is an optional one-day program, at $40/guest, which includes all materials and meals for the day (overnight accommodations provided for students only).

All Freshman Orientation e-mails will be sent to your official UofL e-mail account. Click here for account activation instructions. If you have any e-mail/user ID/password problems, please contact the University's Help Desk.

Please Note:  International students (non-immigrants) should not register for New Cards Orientation.  International students will complete a required International Student Orientation before classes begin.  Information regarding International Student Orientation will be communicated through the University of Louisville's International Center.  Welcome to UofL!
