Kent School Photo/Video Release Policy

The Kent School requires a photo/video release form to be signed by students only at the beginning of the semester in each class (project/activity, etc.) Only take pictures when students are aware they are going to be photographed and inform students that photographs are going to be taken. Prior to photos being taken students should be reminded that they can choose to not be in the photo. For events outside of the classroom, signed releases are required from community members that may be included in pictures. At Kent School and/or University sponsored events a release is not required; an announcement will be made at Kent School events that photos are being taken. No releases are needed for University of Louisville staff or faculty. Send signed forms and photos to the Kent School Communication Specialist, Diandre Glover Thomas for media release (ie. social media, website, newsletter, etc.) and to Seana Golder, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
