Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship
The Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship provides an environment for the development of the academic critical care specialist. The fellowship program utilizes the six core competencies of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education as the foundation for a curriculum which provides clinical training in the discipline of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. The program includes training in a complete range of clinical and procedural skills, and experience in the management of the intensive care unit environment. Additionally, the fellow gains a background in academic research, which provides skills required for competition in the academic setting. Ample opportunity is provided for development of teaching skills, both in informal and formal education settings.
