Senior Residential Area Technology Specialist (SRATS)

The Senior Residential Area Technology Specialist (RATS) acts as a supervisor for the first-tier technology support resources for Housing office staff and hall residents. While the RATS provide in-person support to housing and hall staff regarding computing, information security, and hardware issues, as well as residents for cable trouble-shooting, the Senior RATS oversees all day-to-day tasks and ensures the completion of all job duties and responsibilities. This position is directly supervised by the Coordinator for Technology Administration, and will also utilize communication with the university’s Information and Technology department to trouble-shoot issues that arise, or maintain secure information management and storage for Housing. This position will also serve as the main contact for more complex jobs given by their direct supervisor.
