Office of Academic Planning & Accountability (OAPA)

The mission of the Office of Academic Planning & Accountability (OAPA) is to provide a means of understanding the context and climate of our campus, programs and students; to ensure continuous, systematic assessments and improvements occur within our academic and community activities; and to be accountable to the public, state and accrediting agencies. OAPA is comprised of three sub-offices.
  • As the repository for official university data, IRADS collects, maintains, analyzes, interprets and disseminates data about University of Louisville.

  • Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for coordinating campus-wide and assisting unit-level assessment of academic programs and administrative processes to support the University’s quality improvement efforts.

  • Accreditation & Academic Programs coordinates institutional and discipline-specific accreditation and academic program approval and review processes.
