In this class we will tackle the question of reproductive health justice, with a special focus on how race, class, and gender affect reproductive health and health care access. We will ask questions such as: What are the ethical justifications for and against abortion? What would reproductive freedom entail? How are reproductive rights imbricated with beliefs about motherhood, class, and race?
