Elpidorou is University-Wide Distinguished Researcher
Professor Andreas Elpidorou has been recognized as this year's University-Wide Distinguished Faculty Award winner for Research in the Humanities. Elpidorou's interdisciplinary research, which focuses on the philosophy of psychology and of the emotions, has made a major impact in both Philosophy and Psychology. An occasional blogger at Psychology Today, Elpidorou's most recent book -- Propelled (OUP 2020) -- explores how negative emotions spur us to better choices and better lives.
