Dr. Abigail Stocker is a gastroenterologist with an interest and expertise in GI Motility disorders.

We have the only office-based motility lab in Kentucky, offering high-resolution esophageal manometry for swallowing problems, pH-impedance test for acid and non-acid reflux, SmartPill for wireless GI transit, hydrogen breath for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, and high-resolution anorectal manometry/compliance for constipation/fecal incontinence.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic
The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic cares for patients affected with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. We accept new patients and referrals for all types of inflammatory bowel disease. We have extensive experience with the medical management of complex IBD cases. Clinic patients may benefit from enhancements of their current therapy, or they can obtain access to the newest therapeutic agents through our clinical trials programs. Our clinical trials program also includes unique investigator-initiated projects, such as stem cell therapy for fistulizing Crohn's Disease.
Therapeutic Endoscopy Program
We have multiple clinicians who perform not only standard endoscopic procedures, such as upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy, but also new and advanced procedures. Some of these include: endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, Barrett’s esophagus therapy, endoscopic mucosal resection, band ligation, therapy for esophageal varices, and others.
We also perform new/investigational procedures for conditions such as reflux disease, obesity, and others. We are also leaders in endoscopic device development.
