Professor Arnold a featured speaker at fair housing event
Brandeis School of Law Professor Tony Arnold will be one of many featured speakers at an event on fair housing scheduled for Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. The program, titled "Opening the Door to the Future of Fair Housing," will cover what the Supreme Court Ruling, new federal requirements, and recent local policy initiatives mean for fair housing in Metro Louisville.
Professor Arnold will kick off the Oct. 26 schedule, which will be held from 4:15-6 p.m. at Brandeis School of Law, Room 175.
Other speakers that day include Cathy Hinko, Metropolitan Housing Coalition; Carolyn Miller-Cooper, Metro Human Relations Commission; Dr. Matthew Ruther, UofL Kentucky State Data Center; and Christie McCravy, from the Louisville Urban League, moderating.
The Oct. 27 program is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Louisville Free Public Library Main Branch's Centennial Room.Speakers include Dr. Lauren Heberle, UofL Center for Environmental Policy and Management; Hinko; Shelton McElroy, Louisville Affordable Housing Trust Fund; Miller-Cooper; and Kevin Dunlap, Louisville NAACP, moderating.
