Ashlea Meyer (2005) named Atlanta Postmaster

Ashlea Meyer, a 2005 graduate of the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law, has been named Atlanta postmaster. 

She will be sworn in on Sept. 7, 2018.

Meyer began her postal career in 2001 as a letter carrier in Louisville. Other positions include customer service supervisor in Jeffersonville, Indiana; postmaster in Lafayette, Indiana; and acting executive postmaster in Sacramento, California, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Meyer will oversee Postal Service operations for approximately 1,400 employees who work in 47 retail stations, branches and carrier units that deliver to more than 500,000 addresses.
