Undergraduate Admissions

The Undergraduate Admissions office assists students with the admission process, which includes the application process, the university admissions decision, and determining if previous course credits are transferable. Visit the International Student Admissions page here to find out more information on applying

Students who begin studying at another college or university within the U.S. might be able to transfer their coursework to the University of Louisville to complete their degree. Visit the Transfer Student admissions page for more info. In addition to providing their transcripts to the admissions office, students must also submit a transfer-in request form to the International Student and Scholars office. The transfer-in request form can be found here.

Once you have been admitted to the University of Louisville, the ISSS office will assist with the visa process. Review the Pre-Arrival Information section for specific instructions on how to apply for a student visa.

Please note: international students are not required to attend the undergraduate University of Louisville orientation. You will, however, be required to attend the International New Student orientation which is free and covers the same topics as the undergraduate orientation.
