Students

Who are our students?

With the strong focus apprenticeships place on life-long learning, MAPS considers all participants in our programs, regardless of enrollment and registration status, students.

How can students benefit from an apprenticeship?

Students work in tandem with MAPS employers and educators to build a pathway to a long-term and meaningful career in healthcare, advanced manufacturing, or information technology.

MAPS Apprenticeships provide students with an opportunity to:

  • Gain paid work experience and workplace relevant skills in the field of your choice
  • Receive mentorship from an experienced professional
  • Obtain a relevant credential to advance your career
  • Work for an employer that values the education and professional development of its employees
  • Reach a greater earning potential - on average apprentice graduates earn $300K more over their lifetime compared to peers that did not participate in an apprenticeship
