As the Office of Community Engagement begins a new decade, we are looking to furthering the presence of the Signature Partnership Resident Advisory Council in West Louisville. We are pleased that there are many positive things happening in the west Louisville community, and we invite you to join us for an update on some of these initiatives and consider becoming a part of this important group.
The role of the Resident Advisory Council is to provide input and suggestions for the development of the Signature Partnership Initiative in west Louisville. The Council meets bi-monthly and receives regular updates from the Office of Community Engagement on the progress of the initiative. The Council provides ongoing advice to insure that the views and perspectives of the residents of west Louisville are adequately represented and addressed.
Featured presenters for this information session and membership drive include: Bruce Jeffrey, YMCA Executive Director; Evon Smith, President and CEO of One West; and Dr. Mellone Long, the new Executive Director of the Center for Neighborhoods. Light refreshments will be served.
