Join us for an evening with UofL President Kim Schatzel, as part of the inauguration week celebration. President Schatzel will discuss her vision for engagement with the community and will address the power of collaboration for improving education and quality of life in Louisville.
Moderated by business and community leader Alice Houston, 2008 Louisvillian of the Year and UofL’s 2020 Alumna of the Year.
Prior to the Welcome Reception for President Kim Schatzel, community members are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new mural installation by artist Michael Coppage in the Rotunda of the Ancestors at Heritage Center made possible by a grant from the Mural Arts Institute, a branch of Mural Arts Philadelphia, in partnership with Louisville Visual Art. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm.
