The Elementary Education (MAT) equips future teachers with the knowledge and skills to support diverse learners in grades P-5. Through a combination of rigorous coursework and immersive clinical field experiences, you’ll master effective teaching strategies and become a critical thinker ready to meet the needs of 21st-century classrooms. Graduates are eligible for Kentucky teaching certification in grades P-5. Eligible students benefit from UofL’s Tuition Reduction initiative, saving approximately 25% on graduate tuition.
