COVID-19

Our Role

Over the course of the pandemic the Infectious Diseases Laboratory has adapted and grown to support the needs our community. In 2020, our biorepository expanded to include high quality human specimens and data support for investigator research in the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutics for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Biorepository offers prospective and retrospective specimen selection from the bank of whole blood, serum, plasma, urine, sputum, bronchioalveolar, and tissue samples from subjects hospitalized and tested positive for COVID-19.
