The Office of University Counsel serves as legal counsel for the university. We advise the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff on all legal matters affecting the university.

To serve the University of Louisville as a strategic partner and legal advisor by collaborating with our campus colleagues to advance the university's mission of excellence in teaching, research, scholarship, diversity, service and outreach.
