Community Engagement
Addressing the needs and interests of our diverse communities locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
This new group, “Community-Engaged Sustainability Collaboration” was created to explore teaching and research collaborations in areas that spans both community engagement and sustainability initiatives. We come together in an informal setting to share ideas, ask questions, learn from each other, and explore common interests that could lead to possible collaboration.
While community engagement and sustainability is the primary interest of the group, other areas of teaching and research that is beneficial to the group is also welcome. Participation is open to past participants of the Green Threads who have an interest in community engagement.
The group meets monthly on the last Friday of the month from 9:45-10:45 a.m. via Microsoft Teams. Meetings are coordinated out of the Office of Community Engagement.
