The community-based learning institute is a three half day program designed to assist faculty in developing a new community-based learning course or modify an existing course to include a service-learning component. At the end of the three days, you will have ideas and plans for your course to give you a jump start for the next semester.
The Community-Based Learning Institute will be delivered in person. All faculty members, tenured, tenured-tracked, term, and part-time as well as graduate students are invited to participate. All participants are required to participate in all three days of the institute.
Participants can expect presentations from other faculty and community partners and participate in small group exercises and dedicated work time.
Questions about the Community-Based Learning Institute may be directed to Henry Cunningham (h.cunningham@louisville.edu) or by calling 852-8946.
