New Job Posting Platform - Cardinal Careers

Cardinal Careers Powered by Symplicity

The University Career Center is excited to announce the launch of Cardinal Careers powered by Symplicity. As a part of the University's strategic plan, all students and employers are now served under one universal career platform with the Center for Engaged Learning and the University, Business, and Engineering career centers. Utilizing Cardinal Careers will be your way to post all employment opportunities, view and register for all UofL fairs, and reach all UofL students.

Employers should create their accounts in Cardinal Careers, and post jobs. The University Career Center is no longer accepting new employer accounts, jobs, or career fair registrations through Handshake.

How to Create an EMPLOYER Account in Cardinal Careers powered by Symplicity

  1. Go to
  2. Click Sign Up.[You can also register and submit a job posting in one step, by selecting Sign Up and Post Job.]
  3. When entering employer name, wait to see if employer is already in system. If not, add it and finish completing other fields.
  4. After completing all required fields, click Done (Next if registering and posting job at one time).

How EMPLOYERS Log into Cardinal Careers

  1. Go to
  2. Enter username (email address) and password (emailed to you after registration).
  3. Click Login.


  1. Log into Cardinal Careers.
  2. On the left side of the screen, select Jobs, then Job Postings sub-tab.
  3. Scroll to the middle of the page and click Post A Job.
  4. Select whether you want to post to "this school only" (free) or "Symplicity Network Schools" (fees apply). 
  5. Complete the fields and click Submit.

Note: It is always free to post jobs to UofL only. Symplicity Network and Symplicity Recruit will charge a fee.  Some larger companies will pay to manage their Symplicity schools through Symplicity Recruit. 

How EMPLOYERS Register for Career Fairs

1. Go to
2. Choose Events tab, then Career Fairs sub-tab.
3. Find the event in the list and click the title to see details. Please review all the fair options to ensure you register for the correct fair for your recruiting focus. Registrations cannot be moved from one fair to another.
4. Once you have determined the correct fair, click Register at the top right of the event details.
5. Complete the fields, click Next at the top or bottom of each page to advance through the registration.
6. Click Submit to complete registration.

After submitting your registration, there will be a new Your Registration section in the event details where you can see your registration status and view your invoice. If you need to update your registration, click the pencil icon. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Modify.


Students should log into Cardinal Careers to access positions, schedule appointments, or participate in career fairs. 

Cardinal Careers Student Login

  1. Go to
  2. Currently enrolled students login using ULink username and password.
  3. Follow on-screen prompts when logging in for the first time in order to complete profile information.  Carefully complete the profile.
  4. To edit the profile or add more information, click on initials in upper right corner, then My Account.
