Application Fee Waiver & Priority Course Registration
Students who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States (any branch, any component) are eligible to receive an application fee waiver and priority course registration.
For undergraduate applications , the application fee is automatically waived when the student selects their branch of service and their component on the application in SLATE. For graduate applicants, see https://louisville.edu/graduate/futurestudents/apply-materials/application
DANTES Funded CLEP & DSST Exams
To help military service members as well as eligible spouses and civil service employees reach their education goals, the U.S. government fully funds CLEP & DSST exams and administration fees through a program called Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES). UofL Students can register for CLEP & DSST Exams online and take these exams at our National Testing Centers on our Main Campus.
