Transfer applicants are students who attended a college other than UofL (not including dual credit completed during high school). Transfer students will need to complete a Take Flight Application and request all official transcripts from every institution attended.* For directions on how to request transcripts, please see our FAQs.

The University of Louisville admits students on a rolling basis, so once you submit your application, you can expect to hear about our admission decision within 5-7 business days.

The Fall 2026 application will be available on August 1, 2025.

New transfer students who visit campus between June 1 and Aug. 1 will not be required to pay the application fee for Fall 2026.

• Students must apply to UofL for Fall 2026.
• Students must schedule a morning, afternoon, or Saturday campus visit presentation and tour between June 1 and Aug. 1. View calendar and schedule a visit.
• Students must apply with the SAME email address that was used to register for the campus visit.
