What's an SOSer?

Student Orientation Staffers, also known as SOSers, are current UofL undergraduate students who guide students through the New Cards Orientation experience. SOSers provide mentorship to incoming freshmen at their orientation session and beyond. These student leaders are so excited to meet you and welcome you to the Cardinal family!

Each student is assigned to a small group at orientation, led by one of our SOSers. You'll get a message from your assigned SOSer before you arrive to campus for your New Cards Orientation session!
