Making Word Accessible
Microsoft Word is currently the most common word processor on the market. Making documents accessible in Word can be the easiest task.
Creating Accessible PDF's
A document or application is considered accessible if meets certain technical criteria and can be used by people with disabilities. This includes access by people who are mobility impaired, blind, low vision, deaf, hard of hearing, or who have cognitive impairments.
Accessibility in Previously Created PDF's
You can use Acrobat to make PDFs meet the common accessibility standards, such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and PDF/UA (Universal Access, or ISO 14289).
