Chemistry - Life Science (Minor)

Builds a strong foundation in chemistry for students pursuing biology, medicine or health-related fields. Designed to complement life science majors, it equips students with critical lab skills and scientific knowledge for advanced study and careers.

This 23-credit minor integrates general, organic and physical chemistry with hands-on lab experience. Students complete foundational courses in chemical principles, multi-semester lab analysis and advanced organic and physical chemistry. Ideal for biology, pre-med or allied health majors, the minor enhances research readiness and professional opportunities in medicine, pharmacy, biotech and related careers.
