The Steven Humphrey Undergraduate Philosophy Colloquium

 

The Steven Humphrey Undergraduate Philosophy Colloquium is an annual conference that brings together students from throughout North America. Student presentations are well attended and generate lively discussion; the colloquium ends with a prominent keynote speaker. The Colloquium is possible thanks to the generosity of Dr. Steven Humphrey. The Colloquium will fund the costs of travel and accommodations for the authors of accepted papers.

After two pandemic postponements, we were very happy to host the 20th annual Humphrey Colloquium in the fall of 2022, featuringkeynote speaker Dr. Teresa Robertson Ishii (UCSB) and mentorship remarks on philosophical education from Dr. Nathan Salmón (UCSB).

The 2023 Humphrey Colloquium has been announced for Friday, October 27, 2023. Dr. Sara Protasi (University of Puget Sound) will be the keynote speaker. Click here formore information.

Please submit your papers in any area of Philosophy, by Monday, September 25, via email to . All submissions should be prepared for anonymous review and should not exceed 3000 words.
