M. Cynthia Logsdon, Ph.D., W.H.N.P.-B.C., F.A.A.N., School of Nursing professor and associate chief of nursing for research at University of Louisville Hospital and Brown Cancer Center, has been appointed editor of the Journal of Advanced Nursing, working with Editor-in-Chief Roger Watson and his international team. Her position will start in January.
The Journal of Advanced Nursing (JAN) is a monthly peer reviewed scientific journal that contributes to the advancement of evidence-based nursing, midwifery and health care by disseminating research and scholarship of contemporary relevance and with potential to advance knowledge for practice, education, management or policy.
JAN‘s audience includes practicing nurses and midwives in all spheres and at all levels who are committed to advancing practice and professional development on the basis of new knowledge and evidence, managers and senior members of the nursing and midwifery professions, nurse educators and nursing students, and researchers in other disciplines with interest in common issues and inter-disciplinary collaboration.
