American Burn Association recognizes Carlee Lehna, PhD

Congratulations to Carlee Lehna, PhD, for receiving the Burn Prevention Award at the American Burn Association meeting during the last week of March 2014. In addition to an award plaque, she received a check for $1,500. Lehna's paper co-authored with Dr. John Myers (Pediatrics) entitled "Effects of transfers between short-term hospitals on costs and length of stay for pediatric burn patients" was featured as one of the top six papers of the year. They presented the results of the paper during the "Top Six Papers" plenary session.
