Brandeis School of Law Professor Jamie Abrams presented at the Law, Culture, and the Humanities conference hosted at the Georgetown University Law Center March 16 and 17, 2018.

She is presented her paper titled "The Modern #MeToo Movement’s Feminist Invitation to Critique The 'Crisis' Framing of Rape and Sexual Assault." This paper is forthcoming in the University of Richmond Law Review in 2018.

She is also chaired a panel on Gendered Discourses in Law.

This conference presents an opportunity for international and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Abrams, who is a visiting professor at Georgetown University for the 2017-18 academic year, researches and writes about reproductive and birthing decision-making, gendered violence, legal protections for immigrant victims of domestic violence and legal education pedagogy.
