Adeline Wilson
2015 English Speaking Union
Junior Adeline Wilson has received an English-Speaking Union of the United States scholarship to take part in the Scottish Universities International Summer School program. She will study modern British and Irish literature at the University of Edinburgh, participate in Edinburgh’s famous arts festivals and immerse herself in British culture.
The nonprofit organization Scottish Universities’ International Summer School brings together students and academics who share a love of literature.
“I feel honored and humbled to be selected. I hope to use this experience to inspire my continued studies of English literature and my own creative writing projects. Thank you to UofL and the ESU for giving me this amazing opportunity,” Wilson said.
