Lilah Kahloon presents poster on her senior project

In the triumphant return to in-person poster sessions, Lilah Kahloon presented her poster "Clear speech promotes speaking rate normalization" at the 2022 Undergraduate Arts and Research Showcase. When talkers speak slowly (clearly) or more quickly (conversationally), this can trigger rate-sensitive compensations in speech perception that make the next sound be perceived as fast (if the preceding sounds were slow/clear) or slow (if the preceding sounds were fast/conversational). This successfully completes her Culminating Undergraduate Experience in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. Congratulations Lilah!
