U of L Participates in Eating Disorder Prevention Program
On January 6th and 7th, 10 undergraduates and 8 graduate students from the University of Louisville participated in the Body Project Program Training, which is a program that promotes body positivity and decreases eating disorders. Our students are now trained to disseminate the program across UofL’s campus, meaning we will have fewer cases of eating disorders on our campus.
The training was sponsored by the Body Project Collaborative (out of Denver: http://www.bodyprojectcollaborative.com/) and the UofL Eating Anxiety Treatment Laboratory (www.louisvilleeatlab.com). We are excited to begin promoting a body positive message in our community!
