The Resilient Families Project, Little Free Libraries, & The Garden Commons.

Dr. Justin Mog, Assistant to the Provost for Sustainability Initiatives, hosts Forward Radio 106.5fm and www.forwardradio.org. Dr. Lora Haynes (Associate Professor, Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences) was a recent guest and the focus was The Resilient Families Project (RFP), which has celebrated over 10 years of programming for families experiencing homelessness and women in drug and alcohol recovery. RFP and The Garden Commons collaborated to install and host UofL’s first Little Free Library (www.littlefreelibrary.org). The radio conversation will air on Monday at 6pm, midnight, and 10am Tuesday on Forward Radio 106.5fm and forwardradio.org  describing the importance of reading, carefully selected books, and community interactions for strengthening resilience.

It will also be available as a podcast that is scheduled to release on Sunday evening (June 12) at https://soundcloud.com/wfmp-forward-radio/sustainability-now-lora-haynes-resilient-families-project-june-13-2022?in=wfmp-forward-radio/sets/sustainability-now
