Dr. Nelleke van Wouwe will present the colloquium talk "Modulating action control in Parkinson’s disease" on March 4, 2019
Dr. Nelleke van Wouwe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UofL. In this talk, she will describe the effects of deep brain stimulation on patients with Parkinson’s disease, and the setup of ongoing intraoperative neurophysiological recordings from these patients. Described studies aim to increase our understanding of the underlying neural mechanisms of action control in order to optimize the treatment of movement disorders. The talk will be presented in LF 101 on Monday, March 4th at 12:30 pm.
