Mathematics (Minor)

Strengthens analytical and problem-solving skills through coursework in calculus and higher-level mathematics. It complements any major and prepares students for careers requiring quantitative reasoning or further studies in mathematics-related fields.

The minor requires 21 credit hours, including Calculus I and II, Introduction to Higher Math and additional mathematics electives. At least six credit hours must be completed in upper-level courses (311+) at UofL. This program develops strong quantitative and logical thinking skills, enhancing career opportunities in science, technology, business and research.
