The online Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSHPE) at UofL is designed for healthcare professionals in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, and allied health who teach or plan to teach and want to excel in both clinical and classroom settings. This program equips educators with essential knowledge and skills in learning sciences, enabling them to apply evidence-based teaching, foster inclusive environments, and lead diverse learners. The online Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSHPE) equips healthcare professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to become effective educators in classroom and clinical settings. Highlights include a GRE-free admission, fully online and flexible 8-week courses, and foundational training in health professions teaching methods, technology use, diversity, and assessment. With instruction from UofL’s esteemed faculty, students can begin in spring, summer, or fall and complete their degree in about 2 years. Additionally, the Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education’s credits can be seamlessly applied to the MSHPE degree.
