Criminal Justice (Minor)

Adds valuable insight into law, policy and justice systems for students in any major. It’s designed for those looking to strengthen career prospects in law, public service or related fields with a competitive edge.

This 21-credit program begins with an introduction to criminal justice and builds through 18 elective hours, with 12 credits at the 300+ level. Students explore topics in policing, law, corrections and policy while tailoring electives to their career interests. The minor complements majors across disciplines, preparing graduates for diverse roles in government, law enforcement, policy analysis and beyond. At least 6 hours must be completed at UofL.
